Hi, I’m Florian
a passionate entrepreneur, investor, and sustainability advocate dedicated to creating impactful and profitable businesses that tackle the most urgent challenges in the world.
From Engineer to Founder
My journey started in engineering and consulting, but quickly turned to enterpreneurship.
Over the past decade, I’ve founded two successful companies:

Qualifyze, a digital platform revolutionizing pharmaceutical supply chain audits, and
-
Greenlyte Carbon Technologies, a company focused on developing Direct Air Capture (DAC) and hydrogen
These companies have jointly created nearly 250 jobs, raised more than €100 million in funding, and contributed to solving real-world problems in healthcare and climate tech.

As CEO of Greenlyte, I lead strategy, fundraising, operations, and finance, while fostering team culture and overseeing marketing and PR to advance our mission - reversing climate change by taking carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere.
As Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Qualifyze, I led sales, strategy, and team growth, while shaping our vision, company culture, and overseeing Product & Technology and People & Culture.
My work as an investor and advisor
Alongside building companies, my wife and I are also active investors in early-stage start-ups. We focus on climate tech and future-ready solutions.
We believe that investing is more than providing capital – it’s about mentorship, strategic guidance, and connecting founders with the right networks to help them succeed.
It’s easy to do great things when you believe in what you do.

Beyond Business
While my work and mission to drive sustainable innovation are central to who I am, my personal life is what keeps me grounded and motivated.
Growing up in Dortmund, I now live in Cologne, Germany. I had the luxury to live in many different places and countries. In my free time, I enjoy motorcycling, exploring new places, and spending time with family and friends and doing sports.
